WHAT ELSE YOU CAN DO:

Demand that the USDA perform random, unannounced inspections of the SNBL facility in Everett, WA and hold them accountable for their repeated violations of the Animal Welfare Act. Ask them to no longer allow SNBL USA to conduct any research using animals or to keep any animals in their care for any purpose.

Write Dr. Robert Gibbens at the USDA: [email protected]

Contact AWIC:
USDA Animal Welfare Information  Center
National Agricultural Library
10301 Baltimore Avenue, Room 410
Beltsville, MD 20705
Phone: 301-504-6212
Fax: 301-504-7125

Let SNBL know that torturing animals does not go unnoticed and people are demanding an end to animal testing. Tell them to explore alternatives to animal testing, because it is scientifically outdated and morally unacceptable.

There are many other ways to get involved during this week. We need volunteers to help poster, work at the events, and otherwise promote this important week. Please email [email protected] if you have questions. (Please note the "end time" on this invite is a randomly chosen time, we don't have anything planned for 10pm on Friday.)
