Watchdog Group Files Complaint Against Rutgers

Rutgers is defending against allegations of animal cruelty in its research labs.

The Ohio-based group Stop Animal Exploitation NOW! has filed a federal complaint alleging a rabbit was boiled alive in its cage during cleaning, a goat was killed getting stuck in its feeder, and a pig died following experimental surgery. Rutgers in a statement the courier news claims the incident were all reviewed by federal inspectors and the school was cleared of any wrong doing.
