USC Accused of Animal Cruelty

From KNX1070, February 18, 2021

USC has been accused of Animal cruelty. The claim is that unauthorized staff members amputated ears of several mice. They're also accused of overdosing animals of painkillers and other things. So watchdog group called Stop Animal Exploitation Now says it's got a hold of some internal reports through the Freedom of Information Act.

The group says the actions were not connected to scientific experiments in response officials USC reportedly tightened control of the Animal Lab, banned denied or suspended access to anyone who might have been involved. But the group that's criticizing that says that it is not enough.
